Ep. 10 – The RUNATL Podcast Inspiration & Listener Email

The RUNATL Podcast is hosted by Big Peach Running Co. Founder, Mike Cosentino, and Director of Marketing, Dave “D2” Martinez. Each week we get a lot of great questions that go unanswered on the podcast. This week we answer your questions, share some of our favorite moments from previous episodes, and share an inspiring story of transformation from a former U.S. Marine. We’ve also selected 2 questions for our Podcast Payout!

RUNATL Podcast

Greetings, Friends!

This is a special episode for us…  #10!  As such, we’ve elected to start a new tradition for every installment that ends with a “0.”  More specifically on these designated episodes, we are going to do (at least) two (2) things that should help all of us be increasingly mindful of the content that can potentially Inform, Inspire, Encourage and Empower us the most:

  1. D2 and I will look back at the Featured Conversations in the previous nine (9) episodes and we will each pull our respective “Top 3” elements that had the most impact on us.  Whether during the interview, the editing or, simply, the uninterrupted occasions we get to go for a run and listen to the finished product, we, too, hear certain suggestions or comments from these discussions that really leave a mark with us.  By pulling out these especially bright diamonds from all the spectacular content we’ve mined, we will show that some of the best guidance and motivation is worth repeating!  Newly acquired listeners will have ample reason to return to various episodes to hear more about what moved us… and, you – – our deeply appreciated listener to-date – – will have reminders about specific considerations that you may have not yet taken fully into account or committed to memory.  It’s scientifically proven that we need repeated exposure to best help those behaviors we wish to seed and flourish…  After all, each of us have desired outcomes and important improvements that hang in-the-balance!
  2. The response to our Podcast Payout has been very encouraging!  THANK YOU!  Please keep your questions and comments coming!  Along those lines, however, we just cannot get to all the great contributions in the current cadence of one (1) episode every two (2) weeks…  So we’re dedicating a much larger percentage of our time together on these commemorative installments to the information the listeners submit for consideration!  More specifically, we will forego the Featured Conversation itself and use our time to answer and address as much of the previously unresponded correspondence as we can…  And, man, will this be a great learning opportunity for everyone!  New listeners, current listeners and your hosts will all learn much from these very much appreciated submissions!

Lastly, it’s very likely that the Show Notes for these special episodes will be much more brief.  Much of the content will, of course, be easy to find in previous editions of this same podcast or can be located through studies or resources we’ve cited.  In fact, in this episode, we have only one (1) note to share…  It is below!

SHOW NOTES for Episode #10

Listener Inspiration Email

Here is the photo that was sent along with his inspiring story of transformation. Thank you again for your years of service defending our nation. We love reading these type of stories so please share them with us, so we can share them with our listeners. It’s these type of stories that inspire and empower others to make their own transformations.
