Most loyal Ghost wearers weren’t a fan of the upper on the Ghost 8. There was a little bumper in the toe box of the shoe that would sometimes pinch. Brooks’ answer? Bye bye bumper, hello seamless engineered mesh upper. You’ll notice the toe box feels a little roomier making it more like the Ghost 7. Don’t worry about your foot slipping, though! Thanks to the engineered mesh Brooks’ can sew the overlays into the upper instead making the shoe lighter and more flexible. Adding to the flexibility are the deeper flex gloves and segmented crash pad. What does that mean? It means you’re not going to notice the shoe underfoot while out on your run.
