Thank you for the work you do for the running community

I got some new running shoes from you a few weeks back, and I wanted to let you know how much they mean to me. After running for over a decade, last year, I developed a leg problem that required me to go through two rounds of physical therapy before I was able to start running again. I visited several doctors and health care providers who asked if there was a particular moment of injury I could point to, and the frustrating thing was that I couldn’t. I got a little twinge in my knee when running or taking the stairs and it kept getting worse until I was unable to take the stairs at all to work and at different points I found myself shopping for crutches or a particularly snazzy cane because the problem wasn’t getting better and it was painful to walk. I finally got the right PT who pushed me to recover what turned out to be the result of my hip getting out of alignment and causing muscle tension. I was finally able to start running regularly again when the coronavirus happened and I started working from home. Besides yoga, running is a huge stress relief for me and is key to maintaining good mental health. My old shoes were getting pretty worn, and I was happy to not only be able to order two new pairs of running shoes but to have them sent to me so quickly. Thank you for the work you do for the running community and when I get the newsletter, I am excited to think about one day being able to run a 5K (and eventually work back up to 10Ks) again. Thanks!
