My visit to the Brookhaven store was just what I wanted and needed.
I have run in the same few shoe models for many years and wanted to see what else was out there. Maybe I already had the right shoe or maybe there was something better.
After the salesperson, whose name I have regrettably forgotten, listen to me and asked questions, she emerged from the stockroom with the four new choices to try. I liked them all but soon zeroed in one that was new to me and felt great. The size that I needed was not in stock at that location but it was shipped from another store directly to my home at no extra cost.
It was a great experience. The sales rep could not have been nicer and she even recommended a race that I had not heard of before. The visit reminds me why brick and mortar stores are still important.
