If there is anything we understand, it’s the anticipation you’ll have all week long to get your Spring Break started! Still, we know what it’s like getting out-of-work, fighting some traffic and gathering your friends… So we’ll start nice n’ easy, with casual arrivals at the home of our favorite beverages in Blue Ridge: Fannin Brewing Company! We’ll also have plenty of pizza to share and all your lodging information, goody bags, various directions and final instructions… Spend the evening with us, head downtown or get to your cabin early to enjoy the lavish accommodations and get some much recommended rest!
Man, it’s going to be a full day! And we know there are few days better than a wonderfully strenuous day outdoors… including the satisfaction that comes with recounting your accomplishments among friends and fabulous food and drink! First, you’ll conquer the world-famous Benton MacKaye Trail and spectacular Chattahoochee National Forest... Then, you’ll savor the scenery while sipping award-winning wine from Serenberry Vineyards and snacks as hearty as you are deservedly hungry! Later on, we’ll enjoy Blue Ridge’s best barbeque and some s’mores prepared with open flame and under starry skies at Charlie Creek Farm.
Our break isn’t over yet… No way! Today we take on the Aska Adventure Area, with a bold and beautiful point-to-point 10k (approximately 6 miles) jaunt that will take your breath away - - figuratively AND literally - - with over 2,000 feet of climbing before it finishes back at Charlie Creek Farm. Upon arrival, you’ll be treated to a deservedly splendid and savory Sunday brunch. Or should we say, “b-RUN-ch”? Either way, after some more giveaways, plenty of farm-fresh fare and healthy doses of weekend recollection, you’ll have the most difficult choice to make: go home, head into town, float the Toccoa… or call in sick the following week!
