Not only do we offer clinics discussing relevant topics at all of our stores, we also have fun, (sometimes goofy) theme-based group runs too!  All BPRC clinics are free and open to runners and walkers of all abilities.

December 3rd Active Isolated Stretching Clinic - Marietta

Chiropractor Dr. Alan Bragman is brining us a special stretching clinic to help runners stay flexible and feeling fine. Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) uses the body's natural stretch reflex, which lasts about two seconds. (In most other methods of stretching the position is held for 10, 15 or more seconds.) Dr. Bragman is going to show us a progression of movement oriented stretches done in a series of 12-15 reps, taking about 2 seconds to reach the end point of the stretch. Wear comfy clothes, bring a towel or mat if you wish (not mandatory), and you'll be feeling great when you're done! (This clinic will last 45 minutes to an hour.)

December 7th Trail Run - Kennesaw

Our Trail Running Ambasadors and BPRC Kennesaw trail loving crew is at it again! Join us for 13.1 miles of serious trail running fun taking off from our store! We'll have gels and fluids set up before the run and along the way, and  some post-run refueling bagels, donuts, and other treats.  This run is most definitely open to all pace and abilities, and we'll have our crew leading the way, pacing the middle of the pack, and hanging with the back of the pack, as we have a "no runner left behind" policy.  While we are offering an aid station along the route, we strongly suggest that you bring fluids and fuel with you on the run.
