Not only do we offer clinics discussing relevant topics at all of our stores, we also have fun, (sometimes goofy) theme-based group runs too!  All BPRC clinics are free and open to runners and walkers of all abilities.

March 2 Pull Your Own Weight To Fitness - Alpharetta

Back pain? Hip pain? Knee pain? That’s against the rules! Want to learn how to improve your running without adding more running volume? Rami Odeh of Formwell Personal Fitness is coming BPRC Alpharetta! Learn how most strength training routines for runners are best done with nothing more than your body weight. He'll have lots of other helpful tips and tricks to keep you fit and injury free. 
Here’s the plan:

5 minute easy jog/walk
5-10 minutes of warm-up/movement stretches
20 minutes core workout
Head out for a short run, or do some post-workout stretches

All told, you’ll spend about 60 minutes getting a fantastic workout while having fun.  (Don’t be surprised if you’re a little sore the next morning.)

March 6 Pilates For Runners - Decatur

Our Decatur store's March Friday Fitness Happy Hour Clinic is all about Pilates.  More than just a way to achieve core strength, Pilates is a great way for runners to cross train, and ward off injuries.  Physical Therapist Dr. Kate Mihevc Edwards and Heather King-Smith will teach us how to incorporate Pilates into our training routine.
