Order on or before 12/18, we will make sure it arrives in time for Christmas. Speaking of running, (as if you could stop us), need a little holiday stress buster and overindulgence corrector? Then how about 1 or more of these cool races: Dec. 5 – ABC’s 4th Annual Jingle Jog 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run at Berry College in Rome. This one’s done cross country style, entirely on grass. The fun run starts at 9:30am, and the 5K at 10:00. All proceeds benefit the Athletes Bettering Community service projects. In-store registration continues through 8:00pm Wednesday at BPRC Atlanta, Decatur and Marietta, and through 8:00pm Thursday at Kennesaw. Dec. 12 – There’s another race called Jingle Jog in its 22nd year taking place near Perimeter Mall. This race offers a 5K, 2K, and 50-100 yard dash for kids 7 and under. It is also a Salvation Army toy drive. In-store registration continues through Dec. 11 at all four BPRC locations. Dec. 20 – Life Time Fitness Reindeer Run 5K & Kids K in Alpharetta. Meet Mr. and Mrs. Claus, run in costume for a chance to win a prize, and bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Toys For Tots. In-store registration continues at all four BPRC locations through 12/18. Jan. 23 – Polar Bear 5K/2K/Cub Runs at Johnson Ferry Road Baptist Church. (Across the street from BPRC Marietta.) This January tradition offers a fast, flat 5K in beautiful East Cobb, a 2K also outside on a flat course, a Cub Run for 4 & 5 year olds, which is 1 lap around the indoor track at the Family Life Center, and finally a Cub Dash for 2 & 3 year olds across the gymnasium floor. In-store registration is now going on at BPRC Marietta and Kennesaw. No matter the distance, whether you run or walk, May Your Best Miles Be Those Covered On Foot! |
