What’s New With Peachy?BIG NEWS! Hello Decatur! That's right, BPRC is proud to announce the opening of our newest store on Friday, May 23, 2008! Located at 114 E. Trinity Place, 404.377.7370, you can expect the same friendly, enthusiastic atmosphere you've come to know at our Brookhaven and Marietta stores. Making the opening even more exciting is how we cleverly timed it to coincide with the Decatur Arts Festival. No better way to check out all the great exhibits than with a comfy new pair of running shoes on your feet! Seriously, thank you Big Peach family and friends for helping us grow our community!What else is new? How about in-store registration for the 30th running of the Possum Trot! This race is always a good time, and the proceeds benefit the Chattahoochee Nature Center. And, if you're looking for a Peachtree Road Race training run, or a 2009 Peachtree qualifier, this is your race. In-store registration begins at all BPRC locations on Tuesday the 20th. You can also register on line or via mail. Just check our their website for details. How about this for something new and exciting: Check out the Team Automotive of Alpharetta Tot Trot and 1 Mile Fun Run presented by BPRC. Taking place on Saturday, May 31, 11:00am, at 1575 Mansell Road, this good time gets even better as you get a chance to meet the folks from Q100's "The Bert Show," and Radio Disney. There will also be prizes and fun for the entire family. This run is opened to kids only, but grown-ups can run as escorts for the younger runners. Here's the best part: it's free! That's right, there is no fee for signing up. What's the catch? There isn't one really, but you can only register in person at BPRC starting tomorrow, Wednesday, May 21, and the event is limited to the first 200 fun runners and tot trotters. A really cool T-shirt in youth sizes will be awarded to all who cross the finish line, so make plans to drop by either BPRC location tomorrow and pick up a race number! Finally, you may have noticed the new look of our newsletter. This coincides with Big Peach Running Co.'s new web site. Please check out the new face of Peachy! While you're there be sure to register to be a PAL member, and receive a birthday greeting and surprise from Peachy! May all your best NEW miles be those covered on foot! |
