Lace Up Those Running Shoes & Let’s Play!
The wait is over! The Fall Five Miler is this Saturday, the 17th! Presented by AT&T The Real Yellow Pages and BPRC, get ready for a great start to your Saturday morning! Let’s go over a few details to make sure you have the best race ever!
What’s that you say? You haven’t signed up? No problem there’s still time! In-store registration has been extended through 8:00pm Thursday at BPRC Decatur and Atlanta, and through 8:00pm Friday at BPRC Marietta and Kennesaw. Online registration continues until 3:00pm Wednesday the 14th. Sign up at any BPRC location and receive race number 650 or lower, and a long sleeve Asics tech T awaits you at the finish line. We haven’t reached the magic number yet for some crazy reason, so please come visit us and save time on race day by pre-registering. In that same spirit of saving time, if you registered online, or via mail you can pick up your race number at our Kennesaw store on Thursday from 11-7, or in Marietta on Friday from 11-7.
Also, a quick reminder that there is no parking at Big Peach on race day. There will be plenty of parking available at the start at Fountains Of Olde Town Shopping Center, 736 Johnson Ferry Rd. Overflow parking is available at the north parking lot of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church, 955 Johnson Ferry Rd. Not to worry…while it is 5 miles from the start to the finish, it is less than ½ a mile from the finish to the start. Race number pickup, and race day registration begin at 6:00am.
If you still haven’t made up your mind to run or walk the Fall 5 Miler, perhaps Peachy can twist your arm with these tempting tidbits:
- Fast, fun course with only one uphill of consequence, and a downhill finish
- Charity fund raiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Chattahoochee Nature Center
- Great looking T whether you receive the Asics or cotton version

- Drummers leading a parade to the start line
