Hot Summertime Fun

Only a few days into summer and BPRC is helping to heat up this town! Thanks to the enthusiastic crowd that came out to our Peachtree Prep Run on Saturday! About 150 runners and walkers made their way down Peachtree Road.

Next bit of hot summertime fun takes place Thursday, June 26th at 7:00pm. Come to BPRC Atlanta for a pre-race celebration and clinic for the Aflac Iron Girl Triathlon. Learn about heart rate monitors and heart rate training from Polar, get some helpful course information, and hear some tips to help you get through and recover from the race. There will be door prizes, giveaways, munchies and fun. If you would like to start the festivities with a short run, plan to arrive by 6:00pm and join the folks from Peachtree Tri Club for a 4 miler, (more or less if you choose). This event is free and open to anyone interested in joining us. You do not have to be registered for Iron Girl to attend.

Are you ready for the Peachtree Road Race? We’ve got everything you need at BPRC. In fact, to make sure you don’t get caught without, we are open this coming Sunday, June 29th from 1:00pm-5:00pm. Come see us in Brookhaven, Marietta or Decatur for all your last minute needs.

Come by any BPRC location to register for the June 28th Atlanta Gay & Lesbian 5K Pride Run/Walk benefiting the Jerusalem House.
We are also continuing in-store registration for the 25th annual Run For Life 5k and 10k benefiting the Georgia Sports Foundation's fight against childhood obesity. This fun event takes place on July 26.
Another fun event with in-store registration is the Aug. 9 - Dog Days of Summer 5K Marietta benefiting International Service Projects of the East Cobb Rotary Club.
