Big Peach Running Co. is honored to partner with this great initiative by offering information sessions at each of our stores! Gearing up for the 2010 ING Georgia Marathon, you get to train with Get Fit Atlanta if you sign up for this program, and not only do something fantastic for your health, but can help create a world with less cancer through your fund raising efforts! First info session/clinic is this coming Wednesday at 6:30pm at BPRC Decatur. Scheduling conflict? No problem. Next up is 9/9 at 6:30pm at BPRC Kennessaw where you will learn about proper nutrition for endurance activities. Following is 9/15, 6:30pm at BPRC Marietta. You will have the opportunity to learn how and why you can Get Fit With A Purpose, For A Reason, For A Cause from someone who’s been there, done that. Finally, on 9/22 at 6:30pm, learn how to Gear Up For Winter at BPRC Atlanta. Whether you want to run for charity, or gain some invaluable training tools, please plan on attending one or more of these sessions! ******************** ******************** ******************** ******************** NEW BALANCE/ZOOMA GIRL’S NIGHT OUT continues this Thursday at BPRC Decatur and Atlanta at 6:30pm. And, since it's the first run of the month, we have a special theme this week so don’t forget your punch cards! Did you know that 9/3 is Uncle Sam’s birthday? In his honor, wear something red, white and blue, and get an extra punch! Wear something red, white, blue and New Balance, and earn yet another extra punch! Also, our Atlanta crew will get the opportunity to test drive some of the latest and greatest footwear offered by NB, the 758 for neutral runners, and the 1225 for those needing a little more stability. Both offer a smooth, plush ride, so tie on a pair and go play! As you know, our 2nd Annual Fall 5 Miler presented by AT&T The Real Yellow Pages takes place on Oct. 17th. Proceeds from this race go to MDA and the Chattahoochee Nature Center. We are honored to be included on this year’s Muscular Dystrophy Telethon for a brief moment at about 12:50 on Monday, Sept. 7th. Please tune in to CW 69 if you can.
