Free Fun For The Family!
Sure you've done plenty of 5k and 10k races around town, and may have entered your kids in a fun run every now and then. Wouldn't it be great to have a race just for the kids that is absolutely free?! The nice folks at Team Ford Alpharetta are hosting a 1/2 mile Tot Trot and 1 mile Fun Run, presented by BPRC this coming Saturday, May 31 at 11:00am. And did we mention that there is no entry fee? You got it...Free Family Fun!
Adding to the merriment will be the crew from Q100's "The Bert Show," and Radio Disney. There will be youth sized T'shirts for all finishers, and some cool prizes too. This run is opened to kids only, but grown-ups can run as escorts for the younger runners.
This run is limited to the first 200 tot trotters and fun runners. Please come by any BPRC location between now and Friday to register and pick up your race number. Hurry, don't delay! It would be a shame to miss out on the free fun!

In the spirit of free stuff, how about giving something back. How many of you have a closet full of gently used race (or other) T-shirts just taking up space? Maybe you have some old ball caps that you never use as well. We have a great use for stuff cluttering up your closet. BodyVision Studio is collecting these items for a wonderful program from the Emory University School of Medicine.
Every summer Emory University School of Medicine provides two weeks of free health care clinics in South Georgia (Bainbridge and Valdosta) for migrant farm workers. These clinics see over 1600 workers and their kids. Many of them have no access to health care or dental care except during this time. Please come by any BPRC location with your adult or kid sized shirts and caps by Saturday, May 31st, and help with this incredible program.
Finally, Big Peach Decatur opened this past Friday. Thanks to all who came out to see us opening weekend. Stay tuned for more information about our newest home, including weekday group runs and other Peachy excitement!
May your Best Miles Be Those Covered on Foot during your free time, and anytime!
