BPRC Kennesaw Now Open!
Yay! Yippee! Hooray!
BPRC Kennesaw is now open! We quietly opened our doors on Saturday, July 12th at 9:00am. We are located at 1625 Ridenour Blvd., Kennesaw, 30152, 678.903.0022. A big grand opening celebration is coming soon. Stay tuned for more details in the next week or so.
Triathlon Fun!
Looking to “tri” something new? How about joining us this coming Saturday, July 19th at 6:00pm for our “Blazing Fast Transitions” clinic. Whether you’re an experienced triathlete, or someone considering your first tri, this fun and informative event is a don’t miss! Learn how to shave precious seconds off your transition time, to get you to the finish line faster! As with all of our clinics, there is no fee to attend.

Group Run/Walk!
Do you live in or near Decatur? Do you live in or near Decatur and are looking for training partners? Then come on out to BPRC located at 114 E. Trinity Place, Decatur 30030, 404.377.7370, on Saturday, July 19th at 7:30am for a group run. We have maps available for various distances. We have a fabulous outdoor patio to use for a warm up or cool down stretch, offer refreshing Fontis water to keep you hydrated, clean restrooms and a place to change your clothes. This little get together is open to runners and walkers of all fitness levels and abilities, and of course is free of charge. Hopefully this will be the first of many Saturday morning runs. (Don’t miss out on our weekday Decatur group runs every Tues. and Thurs. evening at 6:30pm.)
Races Races Races!
Stop by any of our 4 (wow Peachy loves saying that!) BPRC locations to register for the 5K run associated with the AIDS Walk Atlanta. This race for a very worthy cause takes place on Sunday, October 19 at 1:45pm.
In-store registration is also going on for the new Zooma Half Marathon and 5K road race at Atlantic Station. Taking place on Sunday, November 16th at 7:00am, there is even a special Jog Stroller 5K at 7:15am for another way to have some fun! Atlanta is the home to just one of the Zooma series of races which is an exciting new concept in women's running that celebrates the power and beauty of all women regardless of age or fitness level. And, guys, you can get in on this as well. The race is open to men and women. A portion of the proceeds will go to CARE. **Please note** There is never a fee to take advantage of in-store registration at BPRC.
It's not too late to sign up for the Run For Life 5K and 10K taking place on July 26th in Kennesaw. The 10K starts at 7:00am, and the 5K begins at 8:15am. Part of the 2008 Georgia Games, this race is always a fun favorite for Metro Atlanta runners and walkers. All proceeds benefit the Georgia Sports Foundation's fight against childhood obesity.

Looking for a 5K this weekend? Check out the Brenda Mehling Cancer Fund 5K Saturday the 19th at 7:00am. The race start is at The Concourse (King and Queen), Concourse Parkway, Atlanta 30328.
