Big Peachy Weekend!
With such an action-packed Peachy weekend, we wanted to share some more information about all the fun we have lined up.
Excited about the upcoming ING Georgia Marathon and Half Marathon? Tomorrow, Saturday, Dec. 6 at 8:00am, join us at BPRC Atlanta for the next in our series of Registration To Race Day clinics. Learn how to keep healthy and injury free as you increase your mileage during the cold winter months. Dr. Charlie Peebles of the Atlanta Foot And Ankle Center will offer many tips to help you achieve your training goals in a strong and robust way.
While at our clinic, be sure to try your luck at winning a free entry to the half or full marathon, and to further motivate you to sign up for the race, we are offering a $10.00 discount off of the entry fee for the full, and a $5.00 discount for the half. (You must be present at our event to take advantage of this offer.) And, if that isn't quite enough to motivate you, why not look the part and pick up official ING GA Marathon apparel at a special 25% discount available Saturday only at all 4 BPRC locations!
Need more inspirational tools to help you reach your ING (or other) goals? How about training partners? While at our clinic, be sure to say hello to representatives from some of Atlanta’s coolest training programs:
Front Runners Atlanta is a running, walking and social club for gay people and friends. Membership is open to all people regardless of race, pace, age, gender, sexual orientation, or athletic ability.

Team Challenge is an exciting fundraising program that trains you to run or walk a half marathon while helping the foundation raise funds to find a cure for ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease, estimated to affect as many as one million Americans.

New cases of leukemia, Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma account for 9.6 percent of the 1,437,180 new cancer cases diagnosed in the United States this year.
Then, after our clinic, there is the opportunity for a group run or walk through beautiful Brookhaven. We will have maps of various distances available for you. Recommended for half marathon training is 5 miles, and 7 or 9 miles for full marathon training. If you’re just getting started, we have a 3 mile route available as well.
