Big Doings At Big Peach

Looking for something to do this week? Let BPRC fill your social calendar with:
1. The return of the Mizuno “Run With Us” Van
2. Scavenger Hunt at BPRC Marietta
3. Details about the Fall Five Miler
4. Signing up for some great races

1. Want to learn more about your biomechanics, and how it relates to your footwear choices? Always wanted to take a Mizuno running shoe out for a test drive? BPRC is honored to host the return of the Mizuno "Run With Us" program at our Marietta and Brookhaven store locations this week! Mizuno brings their incredible, grand scale technical van with two state of the art "Precision Fit" Terminals on board to our Marietta store on Wednesday August 6th from 4:00pm-8:00pm (1062 Johnson Ferry Road, Marietta, 30068, 770.579.0444), and in our Brookhaven store on Thursday the 7th, also from 4:00pm-8:00pm (3881 Peachtree Road, Atlanta 30319, 404.816.8488). You may have seen this incredible vehicle at the ING Georgia Marathon where it made its debut!

All participants will get the chance to have their biomechanics thoroughly checked to help determine which type of running shoe best suits their specific foot type, running style, and running goals. Then, you have the opportunity to test drive a recommended pair of Mizuno shoes, and go for a run or walk with a Mizuno program coordinator who will be happy to share his or her knowledge about the biomechanics of the foot in motion with you during your test drive. This event is open to runners and walkers of all abilities, and is free of charge.

2. Get out that GPS, sharpen your East Cobb knowledge, and join us for a Scavenger Hunt on Saturday, August 9th at 8:00am at Big Peach Marietta. This fun and free event is open to 70 teams of 2. We start with a trivia contest to test your general knowledge skills, and then with clues in hand, we test your puzzle solving skills while you find your way around a 4-6 mile course through East Cobb. There will be prizes for the winning teams, and a guaranteed good time for all! Please be sure one member of your team has a digital camera or cell phone with camera to document your journey.
