Javier DeJesus

At the age of 29, Javi decided to train and run his first marathon. “I wanted to start off my 30’s with a bang and what better way than to complete a marathon.” Needless to say, Javi caught the bug after running his first marathon at the inaugural Country Music Marathon in Nashville, TN. Since then, running has become a significant part of his life, as his six years working in running specialty retail show. And one could say it is partially responsible for his marriage, as he met his wife through running. Today, Javi is a seasoned veteran marathoner and currently training for his first Ironman. He enjoys trail running, cycling and playing soccer. Javi is currently a member of GUTS.
