Floren Ansley
Floren ran competitively in high school (Tallahassee, Florida) and college (Georgia Tech), and has since embraced much longer, slower adventures. Floren has run such famed marathons as Disney, Chicago, NYC, Boston, and of course ING Georgia - where she is in her second year as an official time group pacer. She puts her heart and soul into the Georgia Ultrarunning and Trailrunning Society (GUTS), but also stays active in the running community through ATC and USATF. Currently competing as an ultramarathoner, Floren hopes to one day complete the Badwater Ultramarathon. She has earned 2nd and 4th place finishes at USATF National 50K Championship events, and holds the GA state record 50K time. Outside of running, she also volunteers time and fundraising efforts to such charitable causes as American Diabetes Association.
Floren brought her engineering degree and professional engineer license to Big Peach because she believes whole-heartedly in its promise, and LOVES helping all the fun runners and walkers who stop by the store!
